Senior Lawyer, Debt Finance

About the role

Clifford Chance, one of the largest international law firms, is recruiting a Senior Lawyer for its Debt Finance practice in Luxembourg. The team advises on the full range of debt finance matters, including leveraged finance, fund finance, asset finance, real estate and corporate lending, as well as complex restructurings and structured financing arrangements, acting for banks, financial institutions, corporates, sponsors, funds and direct lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Work on leveraged and acquisition finance, acting for both lenders and borrowers
• Handle fund finance, restructuring and insolvency, real estate and asset finance, and structured finance matters
• Structure and execute domestic and cross-border transactions and give pragmatic advice on sophisticated finance matters

Required profile

• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking, finance and capital markets, ideally within a large international law firm
• Degree in law and admission to the Luxembourg bar
• Fluent English; French, German or Luxembourgish is an asset
• A specialised Master's degree (LL.M.) is an asset
