Senior Fund Accountant – NAV Preparation Partner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fund Accountant to join a leading international financial services organisation in Leudelange, Luxembourg. The role focuses on the preparation, review and oversight of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for complex investment fund structures across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily, weekly and periodic NAV calculations.
• Review fund accounting records, journal entries, securities positions and corporate actions.
• Perform and oversee reconciliations with custodians, brokers and counterparties.
• Investigate valuation discrepancies, pricing issues and accounting exceptions.
• Escalate material issues and support timely resolution.
• Mentor junior fund accountants and act as a senior point of support.
• Respond to queries from clients, auditors, trustees and depositaries.
• Produce internal, client and regulatory reports within agreed deadlines.
• Participate in governance activities, documentation reviews and control processes.
• Support process improvement initiatives and operational projects.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or NAV production.
• Strong understanding of NAV calculation methodologies and investment fund regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent English; German or French advantageous.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• VBA (beneficial).
• Experience with GP4 (advantageous).
