Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a well‑established fund administration firm in Luxembourg. The role will support the client relationship team, acting as the primary accounting contact throughout the fund lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with fund documentation and internal controls.
• Serve as the main client liaison for all accounting deliverables, handling queries and coordinating with internal teams.
• Produce accounting outputs under local GAAP and manage complex calculations such as waterfalls, performance fees, capital activity, and valuations.
• Supervise operational processes including payments, reconciliations, and invoicing.
• Prepare reporting packs, KPIs, and administrative deliverables while ensuring timely audit completion and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance, and legal teams to maintain adherence to regulatory and industry standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity structures.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of fund structures, European regulatory frameworks, and accounting standards.
• Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
