Senior Fraud Data Analyst

About the role

As a Senior Fraud Data Analyst you will tackle one of the most critical challenges in digital payments – keeping millions of transactions safe in real time. You will own the design and operation of our real‑time decisioning engine and translate emerging fraud patterns into effective mitigation strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain real‑time decisioning logic that combines ML scores with velocity features for millisecond decisions.
• Develop high‑performing fraud rules, balancing false‑positive rates against gross fraud loss.
• Proactively hunt emerging fraud schemes (ATO, social engineering) and create end‑to‑end mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define analytical requirements for new features and third‑party data signals.
• Calibrate machine‑learning models and heuristic rules together with the Data Science team.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience in risk, payments, or credit environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and strategy development.
• Deep understanding of payment fraud dynamics and real‑time decisioning.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
