Senior DevOps Engineer – Luxembourg

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to join our banking technology team in Luxembourg. The role focuses on end‑to‑end management of enterprise platforms, continuous improvement of operational processes, and delivery of reliable releases in an on‑premise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage change, incident, problem, deployment and release processes in line with ITSM standards.
• Define, implement and maintain EIB release and deployment pipelines.
• Coordinate IT service management activities and act as the single point of contact for user requests and incidents.
• Package, document and track releases according to EIB policies.
• Provide day‑to‑day operational support and own incident resolution.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Produce, review and maintain operational documentation and support root‑cause analysis.
• Configure and maintain applications and tools across all technical layers.
• Utilise DevOps toolchains to support CI/CD delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of IT experience.
• Proficiency in English (B2 level or higher).
• Hands‑on experience with DevOps methodologies, ITIL best practices, and release management.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise databases such as Sybase ASE and Oracle.
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Bash, Groovy, Python, Java).
• Experience with web and middleware technologies (Tomcat, Nginx, Apache, JBoss EAP).
• Familiarity with version‑control and DevOps ecosystems (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with enterprise platforms and tools (Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Jira, Matomo, Codescene).
