Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Our client in Luxembourg seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a high‑impact team supporting complex financial systems. The role is initially a one‑year contract, with the possibility of extension, and focuses on delivering reliable, automated infrastructure for mission‑critical applications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support for financial platforms such as WallStreet Suite, TRM, RM‑Derivatives, CompatibL, and Murex.
• Design, implement and maintain data provisioning, transformation pipelines and database/application administration.
• Lead automation initiatives using Azure DevOps, Git, Kubernetes, Terraform and related cloud technologies.
• Manage medium‑to‑large scale operational projects from definition through successful delivery.
• Develop and maintain scripts in PowerShell, Unix Shell and Python for monitoring, deployment and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Produce Splunk reports and ensure robust disaster‑recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Information Science, Finance, Corporate Governance or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting financial systems.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
