Senior DevOps Engineer – EU Institutions

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will provide technical support within a financial risk‑management environment for EU institutions. The role focuses on operating, maintaining and enhancing complex financial systems, with a strong emphasis on automation, data handling and system reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Production support for treasury, derivatives or risk‑management platforms.
• Data provisioning and transformation activities.
• Database and application administration (MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Implementing DevOps practices: Azure DevOps, Git‑based workflows, Kubernetes, cloud deployments and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• End‑to‑end delivery of medium to large‑scale technical initiatives, including definition, coordination and execution.
• Implementation and support of disaster‑recovery processes.
• Development of reporting solutions using tools such as Splunk.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT experience.
• At least 3 years of experience supporting financial systems.
• Proficiency in English (minimum B2 level, CEFR).
• Master’s degree in Information Science, Finance, Corporate Governance or related field, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
