Senior Consultant – Non-Financial Risk Management

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join our Risk & Regulatory team, helping financial institutions manage non‑financial risks such as operational, third‑party and compliance risks. The role involves designing and implementing risk frameworks for banks, asset managers, payment institutions and emerging‑tech firms across Luxembourg and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement non‑financial risk management solutions for client portfolios.
• Support regulatory compliance projects, including gap assessments and framework design.
• Develop internal control frameworks aligned with the three lines of defense.
• Conduct independent reviews of regulatory topics such as governance, investor protection and outsourcing.
• Prepare analytical reports, present findings to clients and contribute to new risk‑management practices for crypto, fintech and other innovative products.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law, business administration, economics, finance or a related field.
• 3‑4 years of experience in non‑financial risk management within a compliance, risk, internal audit or advisory environment.
• Basic knowledge of banking regulations (e.g., CRD VI, EBA guidelines, CSSF Circular 12/552) and the COSO ERM framework.

Required skills

• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word.
