Senior Compliance Officer – KYC/AML & Reporting Operations

About the role

KAPITAL is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to lead KYC/AML onboarding and reporting operations from its Luxembourg hub. You will be the first line of defense, ensuring every client, investor and asset passes rigorous compliance checks while supporting the company’s rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute end‑to‑end KYC/AML due diligence on new clients, investors, UBOs and underlying assets.
• Collect, verify and analyse documentation in line with Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations.
• Perform screening for PEPs, sanctions and adverse media, assess risk profiles and trigger enhanced due diligence when needed.
• Maintain ongoing monitoring, periodic file reviews and refreshed screening for the existing client base.
• Keep compliance registers audit‑ready and flag risks early with clear escalation.
• Prepare and complete subscription documentation for underlying investment assets.
• Suggest improvements to processes, tooling and automation, collaborating with operations and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in KYC/AML compliance within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg AML/CFT legal framework and international sanctions regimes.
• Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Clear, jargon‑free communication skills for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
