About the role
As a Fund Accounting Manager you will lead the fund accounting function for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and timely delivery of statements. You will act as the primary accounting contact for clients and coordinate with auditors, depositaries and regulatory bodies.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee preparation and final review of financial statements, quarterly reports, Consolidated Accounting Statements and annual accounts under LUX GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP.
- Ensure all regulatory and statutory filing deadlines are met, including eCDF, RCS and BCL reporting.
- Lead, mentor and develop Level 1 and Level 2 accounting team members, driving recruitment, training and performance management.
- Coordinate audit processes, maintain relationships with auditors, depositaries and regulators, and monitor evolving accounting standards.
- Support client onboarding, migrate general ledger data and conduct gap analyses on bank account connections.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA or CFA.
- 5+ years of experience in fund accounting or alternative investment fund administration.
- Proven experience preparing and reviewing statements under LUX GAAP, IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication; additional European language a plus.
