AIFM Fund Distribution and Marketing Officer

About the role

As an Associate in Fund Distribution and Marketing, you will support the distribution and marketing of alternative investment funds across Europe and worldwide, ensuring compliance with EU and local regulations such as AIFMD and the CSSF regulations. You will work closely with senior team members and third‑party intermediaries to monitor distribution performance and maintain regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review pre‑marketing material and secure sign‑off before sharing with external parties.
• Prepare and file (pre‑)marketing notifications for the CSSF.
• Identify, monitor and report on fund distribution channels.
• Review marketing documents, including LPA/PPM, for investor restrictions.
• Prepare and send payment instructions for upfront and mandatory fees at both AIFM and fund levels.
• Ensure SFDR implementation and update the AIFM website.
• Conduct due‑diligence reviews of distribution parties and monitor KPIs.
• Maintain eligibility processes and prepare board reports on marketing activities.
• Perform regulatory watch on CSSF circulars and FAQs related to cross‑border distribution.
• Maintain annual marketing policies and procedures, and manage passporting processes across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Strong focus on fund distribution and marketing across Europe and worldwide.
• Familiarity with CSSF notification forms (via Edesk) is a plus.
• Knowledge of investor eligibility criteria for private equity funds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are an asset.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high standards.
• Collaborative, proactive mindset.

Required skills

• Understanding of AIFMD and CSSF regulatory requirements.
• Experience with SFDR implementation.
