Senior Business Developer – Biotech, Greentech & Agri‑Environmental Innovation

About the role

LIST is seeking a senior business development professional to drive partnership and market opportunities in biotechnology, green technology and agri‑environmental innovation. You will work autonomously, linking research and technology outcomes with industry, agricultural and environmental stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate national and international business, partnership and collaboration opportunities aligned with LIST’s RDI activities.
• Conduct market prospecting, assess feasibility and benefits of potential collaborations.
• Support RDI teams in selecting suitable public or private partners and define project scopes.
• Lead negotiations, develop partnership agreements and manage contractual formalisation, including coordination with legal and administrative units.
• Maintain and expand partnership networks at national and international levels.

Required profile

• Recognised professional experience in business development within industrial, agro‑ and environmental biotechnology or sustainability sectors.
• Proven ability to work independently with limited oversight.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Solid understanding of RDI activities, market needs and partnership ecosystems.
