Senior Business Analyst – ERP Finance Transformation

About the role

We are supporting a major EU institution on a large‑scale ERP Financial Transformation Programme. As a Senior Business Analyst you will shape the Target Operating Model and define business requirements for finance transformation, ensuring alignment with best‑practice ERP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and structure Target Operating Models, business processes, and requirements.
• Support ERP selection and system integrator procurement activities.
• Deliver fit‑gap analysis and functional design inputs.
• Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders across multiple streams.
• Challenge legacy processes and promote standardized, ERP‑driven solutions.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in ERP or finance transformation programmes.
• Strong expertise in budgeting, cost management, and financial planning.
• Deep knowledge of end‑to‑end finance processes.
• Proven experience with ERP solutions such as SAP or Oracle.
• Experience in Target Operating Model design, business analysis, and procurement/tender environments.
• Ability to engage stakeholders and operate in complex, multi‑actor settings.
• EU citizenship (must be a national of an EU Member State).
