Senior Audit & Assurance Quality & Risk Management Specialist

About the role

Join Deloitte Luxembourg's Audit & Assurance Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team as a senior professional. You will support the growth of the A&A risk function, ensuring high‑quality work, protecting the firm’s reputation, and managing audit‑related risks.

Key responsibilities

• Assist A&A risk functions with compliance activities and provide methodological support on risk matters.
• Prepare and present results of compliance activities to the Risk Leader and develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with various A&A teams to identify and resolve issues through joint problem‑solving.
• Participate in system development and continuous improvement of the QRM A&A risk function.
• Act as the central point of contact for ISQM 1 controls, tracking, compiling and submitting required evidence.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance or business.
• Pursuing a professional qualification such as IRE, DEC, IEC, ACCA, IFAC or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of audit or relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel functions for data review.
• Working knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local auditing requirements.
• Experience with ISQM 1 related controls and evidence collection.
