Senior Associate – Legal Counsel (Fixed‑Term, 1 Year)

About the role

The Senior Associate – Legal Counsel will provide expert legal advice to the Group and its subsidiaries, helping to minimise regulatory risk while supporting the Group’s investment strategy across alternative assets.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day legal support for the Group’s operations and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Lead legal work on investment transactions, especially in real estate, private equity and infrastructure.
• Review, negotiate and draft contracts and agreements, guaranteeing alignment with internal policies and governance frameworks.
• Conduct legal research, monitor legislative changes and advise on their impact.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand commercial objectives and provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal input.
• Liaise with external counsel, manage deliverables and timelines, and ensure high‑quality outputs in a fast‑paced environment.
• Identify key risks, raise issues promptly and contribute to cross‑functional projects.

Required profile

• Law degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 4 years post‑qualification experience in corporate commercial/M&A, preferably with alternative‑investment transactions.
• Experience in investment funds, capital markets or banking/finance is a plus.
• Prior in‑house experience at a financial institution or asset manager is advantageous.
• Strong project‑management abilities, high integrity and professional ethics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; French or German a plus.
