Senior Associate – FATCA/CRS – Operational Tax

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Operational Tax team. You will act as a trusted advisor for financial institutions, helping them navigate complex FATCA, CRS, QI and DAC6 regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Advise and support clients on FATCA, CRS, QI and DAC6 obligations, covering entity classification, investor onboarding and annual reporting.
• Review and validate client documentation such as self‑certification forms, U.S. withholding certificates, account opening forms, master files and XML FATCA/CRS reports.
• Prepare gap analyses, control reports, sign‑off reports and monitor regulatory updates impacting clients.
• Contribute to internal process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the team.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Operational Tax department and provide guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Senior‑level tax professional with experience in operational tax compliance for banks, asset managers or similar financial institutions.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex tax regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information clearly to clients.
• Motivated, proactive and able to work in an international, dynamic environment.
