Senior Adviser – Investment Fund Tax Reporting

About the role

KPMG Luxembourg is looking for a Senior Adviser to join its Investment Fund Tax Reporting team. You will support cross‑border fund managers by delivering high‑quality tax reporting across multiple jurisdictions, while contributing to the firm’s digital and quality‑focused service expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare investment fund tax reporting computations for regimes such as the UK, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany and Denmark.
• Analyse, reconcile and validate data received from fund administrators and other stakeholders.
• Perform asset classification and calculate specific tax reporting adjustments.
• Work with large data sets, ensuring data structuring, control and production quality.
• Review results for accuracy, consistency and completeness, and take ownership of assigned production files.
• Coordinate with fund administrators to gather information, clarify data points and resolve production issues.
• Liaise with the KPMG network to submit files for review and address production‑related queries.
• Support delivery of reporting outputs to clients and answer operational questions.
• Coach junior team members, review their work and provide practical guidance.
• Contribute to improving internal processes, tools and working methods with a focus on efficiency and scalability.

Required profile

• At least 2‑3 years of experience in the fund industry.
• Good understanding of UCITS and AIFMD funds and their accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to manage risks or delays.
