Senior Accountant (Maternity Cover) – Luxembourg

About the role

This temporary senior accountant position supports Herbalife International Luxembourg during a 12‑month maternity cover. You will manage day‑to‑day general ledger activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate with international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting, bookkeeping and month‑end closing tasks.
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts, management reports and other regulatory filings.
• Produce weekly and monthly reports for the US corporate office.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and weekly account statements.
• Handle VAT returns and quarterly reconciliations with importers.
• Support projects such as ERP implementations and new country openings.
• Act as backup for teammates during absences and carry out ad‑hoc assignments.
• Maintain communication with customers, vendors and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of general‑ledger accounting experience in an international environment.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience with reporting and audit processes.
• Good command of Excel and Word.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• Additional languages and knowledge of IFRS, VAT, Oracle or US GAAP are a plus.
