Senior Accountant – Luxembourg GAAP Specialist

About the role

Fundamentals S.A. is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage a portfolio of companies and ensure accurate financial reporting under Luxembourg GAAP. You will work closely with clients, auditors and tax authorities while supporting the growth of our fiduciary services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete accounting records, cashbook entries, expense tracking and payroll processing for assigned companies.
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end journal entries, annual accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and BCL regulatory reports.
• Analyse legal documents such as sales, purchase and loan agreements.
• Respond to inquiries from auditors, clients and tax authorities and resolve internal accounting issues.
• Collaborate with junior accountants, guide their work and contribute to process‑improvement projects.
• Monitor changes in accounting, tax and legal regulations and advise management on necessary actions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Accounting, Audit or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a fiduciary environment.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal French and fluent English.
• Proactive, autonomous and highly organised with strong teamwork skills.
