Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to lead the daily accounting operations of our Luxembourgish holding companies (RE SPVs). You will be the primary contact for clients on accounting and reporting matters, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting for Luxembourg holding companies and SPVs.
• Prepare annual accounts and consolidated statements in accordance with LUXGAAP or IFRS.
• Support tax consultants with VAT and tax return preparation.
• Participate in client, board and shareholders’ meetings.
• Supervise and coach junior accountants.
• Coordinate closely with tax specialists, audit firms and legal advisors.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, domiciliation or audit within Luxembourg.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg national accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Understanding of securitisation vehicles and consolidated accounting.
• Fluent in English and German.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with LUXGAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Ability to prepare consolidated financial statements.
