Senior Accountant – German-speaking Private Equity Structures

About the role

We are seeking a German‑speaking Senior Accountant to join a leading financial services firm in Luxembourg. The role combines technical accounting work with client interaction, focusing on private‑equity‑backed structures.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a portfolio of Luxembourg holding entities, primarily private‑equity SPVs.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and prepare annual accounts under LuxGAAP and/or IFRS.
• Produce consolidated financial statements and regular management reports.
• Support audit processes and act as the primary accounting contact for clients.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors and legal teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative environment.
• Participate in client and board‑level discussions as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Luxembourg accounting, audit or a service‑provider setting.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Strong client‑facing attitude with a solution‑oriented mindset.
