Senior Accountant – Fund Administration (Luxembourg)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our international group and take responsibility for the day‑to‑day administration, bookkeeping and financial statement preparation of Luxembourg special purpose vehicles (SPVs) and investment funds. The role involves close interaction with clients, auditors and third‑party service providers while supporting NAV calculations and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting, bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements for multiple Luxembourg SPVs and funds.
• Execute monthly, quarterly and year‑end closings, including NAV calculations where required.
• Liaise with clients, advisors, investors, auditors and third parties, handling audit queries and coordinating investor onboarding and transactions.
• Interpret transactional legal documents and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.
• Organise board and shareholders’ meetings and prepare related documentation.
• Prepare VAT returns, corporate tax returns and compile periodic CSSF/BCL reports.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated accounts when needed.
• Lead assigned projects, share expertise with the team and mentor junior colleagues.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Accounting, Audit, Economics or a related field; professional certifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fund administration, domiciliation or audit firms.
• Strong knowledge of LUXGAAP accounting principles.
• Fluent English; French and/or German are advantageous.
• Client‑centric attitude, excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
