SecOps Engineer

About the role

Luxtrust is looking for a motivated SecOps Engineer to join its security team on a permanent basis. As the first line of security operations, you will be the initial point of contact for security alerts, incidents and day‑to‑day security tasks, working closely with development, operations and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first line of response for security alerts, performing triage and escalating to the second‑line team when needed.
• Monitor security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS and EDR, ensuring rapid mitigation of threats.
• Participate in incident response activities, including evidence collection, analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops and DevOps teams to embed security best practices into the development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Advise on secure coding, infrastructure hardening and observability improvements.
• Identify, assess and track vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and third‑party components.
• Prioritise and follow up on remediation actions according to the organisation’s risk appetite.
• Conduct regular security reviews, audits and stay up‑to‑date with emerging threats.
