SecOps Engineer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated SecOps Engineer to join its security team on a permanent basis. As the first line of defence, you will handle security alerts, incidents and operational tasks, working closely with development, operations and DevOps teams to embed security throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and triage security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR and other tools, escalating to the second‑line team when needed.
• Participate in incident response activities, including evidence collection, analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Ops and DevOps to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into development pipelines.
• Advise on secure coding, infrastructure hardening and observability improvements.
• Identify, assess and track vulnerabilities across applications, infrastructure and third‑party components, ensuring timely remediation.
• Conduct regular security reviews, audits and threat‑intelligence research to continuously improve the security posture.

• Strong interest in security operations and incident response.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with security monitoring tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS and EDR.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and secure coding principles.
• Understanding of infrastructure hardening and observability tooling.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management processes.
