Sales Manager – Wealth Management & Private Banking

About the role

Avaloq is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to accelerate growth in the European wealth management and private banking market, focusing on Germany and Austria. Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will join a high‑performing Sales & Key Account Management team and play a pivotal role in expanding Avaloq’s core platform, digital, and as‑a‑Service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close high‑value sales opportunities with financial institutions across private banking, wealth, and asset management.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline by engaging key stakeholders, buyers, and decision makers.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, prepare business cases, and coordinate meetings, presentations, and workshops with prospects.
• Drive sales projects from initiation through contract signing, meeting or exceeding targets.
• Collaborate on multi‑site sales strategies for international accounts alongside senior sales executives.
• Provide market feedback to product, pre‑sales, and solutions teams to influence new feature development.

Required profile

• Proven track record of generating profitable new business in the financial or wealth‑management sector.
• Experience with complex deal structuring, including technology and operations lift‑outs.
• Strong understanding of front, middle, and back‑office processes within banks or wealth managers.
• Highly motivated, ambitious, and capable of thriving in a collaborative team environment.
