About the role

The Reliability Engineer will lead root‑cause investigations and drive proactive risk mitigation through FMEA across multiple sites. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, partner with DevOps to improve reliability tools, and help the organization prevent future failures at scale.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead high‑impact Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and ensure lasting corrective actions.
  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (FMEA) to identify and prioritize risks.
  • Analyze equipment and operational data to spot trends, systemic issues, and performance gaps.
  • Build and maintain BI dashboards, automated reports, and reliability metrics (e.g., uptime, MTBF, failure rates).
  • Coordinate cross‑functional reliability improvements with operations, engineering, maintenance, and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to enhance RCA/FMEA tools, gathering requirements, testing, and providing feedback.
  • Establish and standardize reliability best practices, supporting policy creation, training, and adoption.

Required profile

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, VBA, etc.).
  • Experience with data‑scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
  • Familiarity with statistical or mathematical software (R, SAS, MATLAB, or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Operations Research, Robotics, Mathematics, or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with relevant scripting experience.

Required skills

  • Microsoft Excel – advanced functions, pivot tables, macros, VBA.
  • SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Python programming for data analysis.
  • R programming or equivalent statistical tools.
  • SAS or MATLAB for advanced analytics.
