AIV Manager

About the role

ClearSpace is seeking an experienced AIV Manager to lead Assembly, Integration, and Validation activities for current and future space missions from its Luxembourg office. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure test readiness, and drive continuous improvement of integration processes.

Key responsibilities

• Author and maintain AIV plans, estimate resources, and coordinate activities across projects to find synergies and resolve issues.
• Design, develop, and maintain test environments, including hardware models, electrical layouts, harnesses, and IT infrastructure.
• Develop and evolve AIV processes, methods, and skills, providing technical leadership and training to the team.
• Support subsystem and system teams by defining test strategies, executing tests, troubleshooting hardware/software interfaces, and presenting verification status at milestones.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 8 years of experience in AIV or a comparable domain with full‑lifecycle involvement.
• Proven experience with verification and validation processes, preferably in standard‑driven developments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical activities and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in the space sector or familiarity with satellite subsystems is a plus.
