Production Planning & Method Engineer

About the role

The Production Planning & Method Engineer supports LuxairAirlines' Technical Service by ensuring that maintenance documentation, planning and resources are aligned with procedures and regulations. You will work closely with Engineering, Maintenance Control and Production teams to optimise daily workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update internal documentation to comply with applicable procedures and regulations.
• Review, create and update maintenance tasks from maintenance programmes on a regular basis.
• Develop step‑sheets for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to maximise resource efficiency.
• Participate in daily hand‑over and morning meetings, collecting defects, parts and tool requirements.
• Verify completeness of documents, availability of materials, tools and ground support equipment, and adjust short‑term planning accordingly.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Logistics for additional information and required parts.
• Assign jobs to shifts/teams, give clear priorities to Crew Leaders and monitor workload status.
• Provide assistance to Engineering and Maintenance Control Centre, and support training of production staff.
• Recommend improvements to methods or equipment and maintain hangar/shop layout documentation.
• Perform corrective actions on non‑conforming work orders, service bulletins and task cards.

Required profile

• Holder of an EASA B1.1 or B2 licence.
• At least Senior Aircraft Technician or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of technical operations and regulations applicable to LG Technics.
• Willingness to travel for duty.
• Proficiency with standard office applications and IT tools used in production.
• Excellent communication in English and French or German (spoken and written).
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of data.
