Portfolio Management Trainee

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Portfolio Management Trainee to join our Portfolio Management Team in Luxembourg. The 6‑month programme offers hands‑on experience in real‑estate investment fund reporting, budgeting and transaction support.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and control SPV financial reports, ensuring alignment with budgeted P&L and investigating any deviations.
• Coordinate and implement standard Management Control reporting for Pan‑European SPVs.
• Manage internal and external reporting deliverables, including annual reports and quarterly fact sheets.
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and periodic cash‑flow forecasts for the funds.
• Monitor budget variances of SPVs and communicate findings to the Fund Accounting and Fund Management teams.
• Track SPV liquidity and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare quarterly distribution work‑papers to confirm distributable cash matches budget assumptions.
• Assist in transaction execution activities such as acquisitions, restructurings and disposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong analytical thinking and high affinity for numbers.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
