Planning and Coordination Officer

About the role

The Planning and Coordination Officer supports the NSPA by facilitating cooperation among Country Liaison Representatives, supervisors, and SPC Chairpersons. The role ensures smooth planning, coordination, and control of projects within the agency.

Key responsibilities

• Cooperate with Country Liaison Representatives and supervisors at various levels.
• Assist SPC Chairpersons in preparing and conducting meetings.
• Manage information and file systems using SharePoint and related tools.
• Coordinate, plan, and control functions across the agency or similar organisations.
• Maintain understanding of NSPA operations, their relationship to NATO, and related national organisations.
• Apply knowledge of SAP and weapon systems supported by the Programme Office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or at least six years of progressive experience in a similar function.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
• Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• SharePoint and file‑management tools.
• Project management methodologies (PRINCE2®, PMP).
• SAP.
• Knowledge of weapon systems supported by the Programme Office.
