Chief Operating Officer (COO) – Relocation to Luxembourg

About the role

Satispay is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead and scale its operational foundations as the company expands rapidly across Europe. The role requires relocation to the Luxembourg office and involves close collaboration with product, tech, business development, and compliance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily operational activities to align with long‑term company objectives, ensuring seamless execution across teams.
• Identify bottlenecks, standardise workflows and implement scalable processes to boost overall efficiency.
• Align operations with Product, Tech, Business Development and Compliance for end‑to‑end execution.
• Define, track and drive key operational KPIs, establishing robust reporting frameworks for data‑driven decisions.
• Build resilient operational systems and frameworks that support rapid user acquisition and geographic expansion.

Required profile

• Proven executive experience (COO, VP Ops or similar) in a fast‑growing scale‑up, tech or fintech environment.
• Demonstrated success in designing, scaling and managing complex operational processes at scale.
• Strong strategic and analytical mindset, turning complex challenges into actionable frameworks using data.
• Track record of building, scaling and empowering high‑performing operational teams.
• Hands‑on ownership mindset with the ability to make high‑stakes decisions in fast‑paced settings.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% between Luxembourg and Milan.
