Payment Processing Analyst – Financial Services Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a Payment Processing Analyst to join a leading financial services client in Luxembourg. The role focuses on designing and implementing target operating models for payment processing, supporting large‑scale transformation programmes across global locations.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and rollout of target operating models using a top‑down approach.
• Conduct process, gap and documentation analysis, creating swim‑lane diagrams and detailed procedural guides.
• Collaborate with Operational Readiness teams to drive business adoption worldwide.
• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise and consulting support throughout transformation initiatives.
• Identify, manage and escalate programme risks, issues and dependencies.
• Maintain strong relationships with programme teams, business units and clients.
• Represent the Operating Model workstream in stakeholder forums and support governance activities.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of financial services operating models, systems, processes and data flows.
• Experience delivering complex transformation programmes in a global environment.
• Proven ability to design target operating models and drive process improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the capacity to influence senior leaders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in fast‑paced transformation settings.
