Operator IPO Technician – Lab Production & Testing

About the role

As an Operator IPO Technician you will support the Applied Physical Metrology laboratory at Goodyear’s Innovation Center in Luxembourg. You will be responsible for producing, vulcanising and testing rubber compounds and other materials that are used to develop new tyre products and technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Mix, prepare and test rubber and other material components.
• Operate laboratory equipment and follow established testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Order supplies and raw materials as required.
• Provide technical assistance to team members regarding material properties and test results.
• Handle special requests that may need customised test setups.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase laboratory efficiency.

Required profile

• Willingness to work a three‑shift schedule (no weekends/holidays).
• Technical background or experience in a laboratory or hands‑on environment is a plus.
• Basic computer literacy (email, Microsoft Office).
• Good communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages such as German, French or Luxembourgish are advantageous.
• Ability to work mainly standing or moving.
