Microsoft Software Architect / Technical Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to design, lead, and deliver enterprise‑grade solutions using Microsoft technologies. The role involves defining architecture, guiding development teams, and ensuring quality, security, and cloud‑native adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Define, design, and maintain scalable, secure, high‑performance software architectures.
• Lead implementation of design patterns such as microservices, Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA), event‑driven architectures, Model‑Driven Design, and MVC‑based web applications.
• Produce architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications using UML and other modelling techniques.
• Establish architecture standards, development guidelines, and best practices across projects.
• Ensure solutions align with business requirements, scalability needs, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical decision‑making.
• Guide teams in adopting modern development practices and cloud‑native solutions.
• Design and implement integrations between web applications, enterprise systems, and ERP platforms.
• Define integration patterns using APIs, web services, messaging systems, and event‑based communication.
• Incorporate secure‑by‑design principles and identify cybersecurity risks with mitigation strategies.
• Support DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, containerization, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive technical and architecture documentation.
• Support project planning, estimation, risk assessment, and delivery activities while tracking progress.
• Drive continuous improvement of development processes and engineering practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years in a Software Architect, Solution Architect, or similar role.
• Extensive experience building scalable web‑based platforms, integrating enterprise applications, and designing distributed systems using Azure and Microsoft technology stacks.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive architectural decisions.
