Mechanical Designer – Molds (Product Development)

About the role

Join Husky Technologies' Development‑Engineering team in Luxembourg and contribute to the design of beverage packaging tooling. After an initial training period at the European headquarters, you will work on high‑performance mold designs, ensuring reliability, cost‑effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Iterate and select design concepts based on project scope.
• Execute detailed designs following company standards.
• Develop system‑level designs with limited guidance.
• Create design documentation and validation plans.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams worldwide, including manufacturing, testing and validation.
• Manage complex project plans, set milestones and communicate status.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in mechanical design for molds or tooling.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems.
• Good project and time‑management capabilities.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD applications.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
• Experience with virtual simulation tools (advantageous).
• Ability to calculate design parameters.
