Food Process Engineering Specialist

About the role

Ferrero’s headquarters in Luxembourg is seeking a Food Process Engineering Specialist to drive the E2E Traceability transformation across its manufacturing network. You will lead the preparation of factories for robust digital traceability, aligning central vision with local realities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end traceability maturity assessments in workshop mode at all manufacturing sites.
• Map material flows, automation levels and existing data capture to create digital process maps.
• Identify gaps against Group Traceability Guidelines and propose pragmatic solutions, including process changes and automation upgrades.
• Coordinate high‑level CAPEX estimates to support decision‑making.
• Facilitate onsite workshops and Train‑the‑Trainer sessions, fostering cross‑functional collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related operations field.
• 3–5 years of project‑management experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proven experience as a process engineer in food manufacturing, especially continuous processes.
• Strong understanding of automation, material flows, production systems and ability to read P&IDs, SCADA screens and technical diagrams.
• Collaborative, cross‑functional mindset with clear communication skills.
