Managing Director – Luxembourg

About the role

Brightpoint Group, a Luxembourg‑based Sub‑Threshold AIFM and fund administrator, is looking for a commercially driven Managing Director to lead its Luxembourg entity. The role combines executive, regulatory and business development responsibilities within a lean, entrepreneurial platform supporting venture capital and alternative investment sponsors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as Managing Director / Conducting Officer for the Sub‑Threshold AIFM, maintaining the primary relationship with the CSSF.
• Ensure compliance with AIFMD (sub‑threshold), AML/CFT and all Luxembourg regulatory requirements, overseeing reporting, risk and valuation frameworks.
• Lead the Luxembourg team, providing governance and operational substance.
• Originate and develop new fund mandates, building relationships with fund initiators, advisors and institutional partners.
• Drive commercial discussions, support mandate structuring and contribute to pricing and market positioning.
• Participate actively in fund structuring and launch processes, supervising service providers and operational workflows.

Required profile

• 7–12 years of experience in Luxembourg alternative investments, AIFM or fund administration.
• Strong knowledge of the AIFM framework, including sub‑threshold and fully authorised structures.
• Experience with VC, private equity and alternative investment vehicles such as SCSp, RAIF and SCS.
• Commercial mindset with ambition to grow a scalable platform.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and ability to execute in a lean environment.
