Managing Director – Luxembourg Fund Administration

About the role

Our client, a leading global provider of specialist services to the asset management industry, is seeking a Managing Director to lead its Luxembourg Fund Administration business. This senior position combines commercial influence with regulatory responsibility, driving growth and shaping strategy in a high‑impact environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set strategic direction and drive growth for the Luxembourg Fund Administration platform.
• Own revenue, pipeline development and client retention across the Luxembourg business.
• Originate and convert new business opportunities, including leading client pitches.
• Build and maintain senior relationships with clients, regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Support cross‑selling initiatives across fund and SPV structures.
• Ensure strong governance, risk management and full regulatory compliance, including AML/CFT.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to enhance operational scalability and financial performance.
• Represent the organisation externally and stay ahead of market and regulatory developments.

Required profile

• 15+ years’ experience in Luxembourg fund and SPV administration.
• Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory environment; conducting officer experience preferred.
• Proven commercial leadership and business development track record.
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT and governance frameworks.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics; fluent English required (additional languages an asset).
• Valid Luxembourg work permit is required.
