Managing Associate – Investment Funds (Luxembourg)

About the role

CMS Luxembourg is seeking a Managing Associate to join its growing Investment Funds practice. You will work with top‑tier international clients on a variety of fund structures and asset classes, providing high‑quality legal advice and contributing to the practice’s development.

Key responsibilities

• Advise asset managers, private equity houses and institutional investors on Luxembourg fund structuring and related transactions.
• Draft and review fund documentation, transaction agreements and other sophisticated legal documents.
• Analyse financial products and fund structures under Luxembourg law.
• Interact directly with clients, regulators and authorities, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Collaborate with partners and cross‑border practice groups on complex matters.
• Supervise and mentor junior associates.
• Support business development activities, including pitches and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent is an asset).
• 2–4 years of experience in Luxembourg investment funds.
• Strong technical expertise in fund structuring and regulatory matters.
• Excellent command of English; French and/or German are strong assets.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex matters with rigor.
