Manager, Accounting - Real Assets

About the role

The Manager, Accounting – Real Assets will lead the accounting team in delivering high‑quality client deliverables, overseeing fund administration processes, and ensuring compliance with Luxembourg regulations. You will act as the primary liaison with business unit leads and clients, driving efficient workflow and maintaining rigorous quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workflow, delegate tasks, and coordinate with business unit leads on client planning.
• Oversee internal processing and review of client deliverables, ISAE 3402 controls, and procedures.
• Participate in and lead client calls, reviewing journal entries, trial balances, financial statements, and capital event activities.
• Validate complex capital calls, distribution allocations, and management fee schedules.
• Coordinate fund setup, consolidation packages, annual audit and tax processes, and quarterly reporting.
• Handle ad‑hoc requests such as audit confirmations and LP inquiries.
• Lead onboarding of new clients and fund setups, and train/co‑coach team members.
• Participate in talent evaluation, performance reviews, and hiring processes.

Required profile

• BAC+3 in Accounting, Finance or a recognized accounting qualification.
• 7+ years of fund administration experience in Luxembourg.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg corporate laws and fund structures (e.g., SOPARFI, SICAR, SIF, RAIF, SLP).
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi (advantageous).
• Experience using accounting and fund administration systems.
• Knowledge of ISAE 3402 controls.
• Expertise in fund setup, consolidation, and management fee calculations.
