Manager Accounting – Luxembourg

About the role

PwC Luxembourg is seeking a Manager Accounting to lead its accounting and consolidation services. You will work with local and international clients, supporting them through the full corporate lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and expand the portfolio of international and local clients.
• Oversee day‑to‑day client accounting files, including preparation of periodic reports, annual accounts and consolidated statements.
• Produce accounting analyses, memoranda and consolidated reporting.
• Advise clients on daily financial and accounting operations and provide accounting support to the tax team.
• Coach and mentor junior staff, sharing knowledge and fostering development.
• Propose innovative, value‑added solutions and coordinate with other PwC departments worldwide.
• Lead, manage and develop a team of skilled accounting professionals.
• Deliver in‑house and external training sessions and represent the firm at conferences and events.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree in economics, finance or accounting (or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of experience in an accounting department.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and market services to existing and prospective clients.
• Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP; familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS and EU Directives is a plus.
• Excellent financial, accounting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of Luxembourg income tax and VAT principles.
• Ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Leadership skills to manage, develop and retain a team of accounting professionals.
• Fluent in English; French or German is an asset.
