Maintenance Controller – Technical Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Controller ensures network‑wide technical control, support and troubleshooting for flight crews and maintenance teams across Luxair’s fleet. The role coordinates daily technical operations, manages priorities, and guarantees high dispatch reliability while complying with internal and legal regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting to flight crews and maintenance staff for all fleet issues.
• Supervise manpower allocation, adjust work assignments, and communicate operational updates to all departments.
• Maintain the Technics database, recording deferred defects and ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Directives.
• Assist in critical task identification, double‑inspection procedures, and pilot‑in‑command release processes.
• Monitor fleet status, coordinate ongoing and future maintenance activities, and manage last‑minute operational changes.
• Act as Certifying Staff with authority to perform double‑inspection procedures.

Required profile

• Holder of a DAP or equivalent licence.
• Current Aircraft Licensed Staff (B1 or B2) with a type rating for at least one Luxair aircraft.
• Good knowledge of EASA Part M and Part 145 regulations.
• Ability to work irregular shifts (24/7) and travel as required.
• Strong communication skills in English and French or German.
