Logistics Engineer

About the role

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Logistics Engineer to support strategic customer implementations and continuous‑improvement initiatives across its international Control Tower network. The role blends process engineering, business analysis, and operational excellence to help customers transition from design through go‑live and stabilization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and map end‑to‑end logistics processes across transportation, warehousing and Control Tower operations.
• Design future‑state processes that improve efficiency, quality and service performance.
• Support implementation projects from contract signature through go‑live, hyper‑care and stabilization.
• Conduct process engineering, testing, validation and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities and drive continuous‑improvement projects.
• Assist in the rollout and adoption of digital tools and process enhancements.
• Collaborate with customers, logistics service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, process engineering, business analysis or continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing and supply‑chain execution.
• Proven experience participating in or leading implementation and transformation projects.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex operational environments and translate findings into practical solutions.
