Legal Trainee – Digital Trust & Commercial Law

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Legal Trainee to join our dynamic team in Capellen, Luxembourg. The role offers hands‑on experience in digital trust services, commercial contracts, and EU regulatory compliance within a fast‑growing tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts, including digital trust, e‑signature and identity management agreements.
• Assist in updating general terms, policies and contractual templates.
• Support regulatory work on eIDAS, DORA, NIS2, GDPR and related frameworks.
• Monitor EU and Luxembourg regulatory developments and prepare internal legal summaries.
• Contribute to risk‑management analyses, liability assessments and internal governance documentation.
• Conduct legal research and produce briefing notes for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s law program.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate with compliance, IT, security and business teams.
• Fluent in French and English; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Understanding of contract law and commercial law fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks (eIDAS, DORA, NIS2, GDPR).
• Legal research and drafting abilities.
• Proficiency in analyzing contractual clauses.
