Legal Manager – Alternative Investment Firm

About the role

We are a leading European alternative investment firm seeking a Legal Manager to join our high‑performing Luxembourg office. You will work at the intersection of product structuring, regulatory compliance and investor interaction within an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the legal structuring of alternative investment products such as private equity, private debt, infrastructure and secondaries.
• Negotiate investor side‑letters and assist with fundraising documentation.
• Advise the AIFM on complex regulatory and transactional matters.
• Collaborate closely with international law firms and external partners.
• Analyse Luxembourgish, German and cross‑border legal issues.
• Contribute to product‑related investor queries and presentations.

Required profile

• Degree in Law (or equivalent legal/economic qualification).
• 5+ years of experience in funds, AIFM, private equity, financial services, a law firm, Big 4, regulator or similar.
• Fluent in German and English (both essential).
• Strong drafting skills and ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Detail‑oriented, structured, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
