Legal Counsel – Corporate & Contract Law (International)

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join the legal team of a leading international industrial group operating across more than 20 African countries. Reporting to the Deputy Legal Director, you will support the company’s corporate and contractual activities while contributing to strategic, cross‑border projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage corporate legal matters for a portfolio of entities, ensuring compliance and proper documentation.
• Draft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements, including partnership, licensing, intragroup, and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Develop and maintain contract templates to streamline future negotiations.
• Conduct legal research, regulatory monitoring and analysis across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on African markets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support multi‑jurisdictional initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Law or Corporate Law.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in Luxembourg, including mandatory experience in a law firm.
• Strong expertise in corporate law and contract law.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a demanding environment while maintaining confidentiality.
