About the role

The Caisse nationale de santé (CNS) is seeking a full‑time Legal Counsel to strengthen its Litigation and Legal Affairs Department. You will support the team in managing daily, organisational, operational and strategic matters related to the department’s legal portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily, organisational, operational and strategic management of department affairs.
• Draft, revise and finalize decisions and case files prepared within the department.
• Conduct legal research and analysis; produce opinions and notes in private, administrative, social or international law.
• Prepare procedural documents such as CASS, CSSS, and other legal acts.
• Represent CNS in pending court proceedings and perform related duties.
• Contribute to the digitalisation of departmental processes.
• Assist in managing recourse actions against third‑party liable parties.

Required profile

• EU citizenship.
• Master’s degree in law recognised under current legislation.
• Law degree; a certificate in Luxembourg law (CCDL) is a plus.
• Several years of Bar experience is an advantage.
• Excellent oral and written proficiency in French, German, Luxembourgish and English.
• Autonomous, organized, with strong prioritisation skills.
• Team‑oriented with excellent relational abilities.
• Capable of working under pressure, showing initiative and rigor.
• Proficient with standard office and IT tools.
