Junior Technician – Mechanical Maintenance

About the role

The position supports the maintenance of mechanical equipment within a multicultural NATO environment. You will develop checklists, standard operating procedures and use historical failure data to anticipate risks.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical assets.
• Create and update checklists, SOPs and best‑practice documents.
• Analyse failure data to identify potential critical issues.
• Operate material handling equipment and conduct loading/unloading tasks.
• Ensure compliance with HAZMAT safety standards and wear protective gear.

Required profile

• Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with at least 2 years post‑related experience, or secondary education with 4 years experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in mechanical equipment maintenance.
• Valid Category B driving licence and ability to operate MHE.
• Good health, physical ability to handle semi‑bulk and bulk items.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of French is desirable.
• Ability to work in secured environments and pass background checks.
