Junior IT Corporate Support Officer

About the role

Luxtrust is seeking a motivated Junior IT Corporate Support Officer to join its growing IT Operations team in Capellen, Luxembourg. Reporting to the Head of IT Operations, you will provide first‑line technical assistance to internal users and help maintain a reliable IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for hardware, software and network issues.
• Respond promptly to help‑desk tickets, emails and user queries.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Assist with user account creation, password resets and access permissions.
• Troubleshoot basic system and application problems and document solutions.
• Escalate complex incidents to senior IT staff when required.
• Support routine system updates and maintenance tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field is preferred (not mandatory).
• 1‑2 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, patience and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing procedures.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with common office software and tools.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts.
