Junior Financial Accountant Analyst

About the role

Join Deutsche Börse Group’s Clearstream division as a Junior Financial Accountant Analyst. You will support the Financial Accounting team by handling day‑to‑day accounting tasks, contributing to month‑end closings, and ensuring accurate reporting for multiple legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities in SAP, including journal entry preparation and verification of supporting documentation.
• Monitor accounting balances, investigate intercompany discrepancies, and perform weekly payment runs.
• Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparing reconciliations for nostro accounts, FX swaps, repo transactions, collateral management (CMAX), and customer cash (NCCIP).
• Assist in the preparation of annual accounts under Lux GAAP and IFRS, leveraging SAP ledger trial balances.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and analyses.
• Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with internal control policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Financial Economics from a recognized institution.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, technology‑driven environment.

Required skills

• SAP (journal entry and ledger functions)
• CMAX application for collateral management
• NCCIP application for customer cash handling
• Knowledge of Lux GAAP
• Knowledge of IFRS
